Having Fun with Tea Brewing
March 22 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Update: This class has been cancelled. We may reschedule at a later date.
Learn to brew your teas by understanding its principles and logic. We will discuss and experiment with key parameters that affect tea brewing. In this hands-on class, we will brew 3 teas – Japanese green tea, Taiwan oolong tea, and Indian black tea. We will taste 3 more teas to supplement our learning and help you discover the teas you enjoy.
Tea brewing is the first step to enjoying tea. After this class, instead of simply following label instructions, you can experiment with brewing in a thoughtful manner, making adjustments to match your preferences.
Is brewing just about adding hot water to tea leaves? The answer is a resounding NO. Come find out why!
