If you’ve always wanted to try out knife carving and whittling, but never got the chance, this is the session for you!
In this free community class, we’ll introduce the subject of Knife Carving with green wood and get you started.
You’ll be trained to use two basic carving techniques and get to hand craft your first project, a branch butter knife.
To make this project, the group will work together and follow along step by step.
Tools, materials, and wood will all be provided by the instructor.
If weather allows, we will carve outdoors. If necessary, we will carve indoors at the Chuckanut Center house.
Parking
Parking is available at the Center. If the lot is full, please find parking nextdoor at Fairhaven Park.
