Using the right knot for the job makes life easier! From the simple overhand knot to the bowline knot, the world of rope can seem intimidating. That’s why this short workshop will be designed for beginners who are looking to build a foundation with a useful variety of basic knots.
We’ll work as a group and follow along step by step to learn a handful of common knots and when to use them. After instruction, we will practice tying up everyday items. We’ll finish the class with training in setting up a tarp for outdoor use.
This clinic welcomes backpackers, gardeners, hikers, survival enthusiasts, and any others who want to practice and learn!
This session is led by survival instructor and guide Ryan Johnson of Firecraft Northwest.
