Learn about the wonderful world of natural dyes on fabric with textile artist Becka Viets. We will work with pre-mordanted fabrics. Students will mix natural dyes from raw materials and dye extracts. We will also play with modifying dye pots to shift color.
Class is 3 hours. Limited to 12. Age 8-108, students between 8-12 should be accompanied by an adult. Please wear old clothes, bring a dark hand towel, and 4 zip top bags or mason jars to transport wet textiles home.

Location- Chuckanut Center 103 Chuckanut Dr N, Bellingham WA
Class fee- $80-125 sliding scale. This includes pre mordanted bandanas/fabric and all dye supplies.
