In this workshop experienced willow basketmaker Shannon Robertson will guide students through making a small reed basket. Finished basket is around 7 inches at the rim. Reed is much easier to work with and a lot cheaper than willow and so lends itself well to beginners. Come create a beautiful, functional vessel with your own hands! While reed is much easier to manipulate than willow, it does still require a fair amount of hand strength. All tools and materials included. Price reflects two teachers to increase the teacher student ratio.
