A comprehensive course for new and prospective beekeepers offered by Michael Jaross, a veteran Bellingham beekeeper who has operated a sustainable local apiary since 2005.
“This 8-week course will focus on my own methods for keeping honeybees alive, healthy and productive in the conditions and challenges we currently face right here in Whatcom County. With these field-tested techniques, I believe every new beekeeper can succeed right from the bee-ginning.”
This is the most comprehensive beekeeping class in Whatcom County. We will meet at Chuckanut Center in Fairhaven, Tuesday evenings 6:30-8:30 for eight weeks starting March 7th, 2023. Tuition: $295 Register online here.
