Drop in Community Yoga

Lets bring our community together through yoga! We're offering this drop in class to all levels of participants. Bring your own mat, water, and any props you enjoy using. Classes will center around Hatha and Ashtanga practices with mobility to shape the class to what each student needs.  Please show up 5 minutes before class begins to get settled in! These two singer/songwriters moved to Bellingham after performing at the Subdued Stringband Jamboree. Meg comes from Portland, Maine and Louis most recently from New Orleans. Both have developed strong connections in our local music community during the past decade. They will each perform a solo set. Doors open at 7 PM. This 8-week course will focus on my own methods for keeping honeybees alive, healthy and productive in the conditions and challenges we currently face right here in Whatcom County. With these field-tested techniques, I believe every new beekeeper can succeed right from the bee-ginning. This is the most comprehensive beekeeping class in Whatcom County. Gallowglass is a local acoustic Irish band formed in 2014 by Jan Peters (vocals, bouzouki, harmonicas), Zach Bauman (vocals, guitar, mandolins), David Lofgren (bodhrán, percussion).  In 2017 they added regional traditional fiddle great Margaret Inez Driscoll and singing wonder Mishon Kirkland fill out their stunning sound.
