Adam Brayton

Facilities Coordinator

Adam originally hails from Santa Cruz, California, among the coastal redwoods and Pacific waves, though after leaving home to go to college in Washington, he has ping-ponged his way across states and countries to find himself... back in Washington.

He's worn a lot of hats over the years, from outdoor educator to UPS delivery guy to dishwasher to volcano trekking guide to glamping cook. After earning his M.Ed. at Western Washington University in Environmental Education, Adam has made Bellingham his home.

After working with Wild Whatcom's Nature Preschool, he was inspired by the work of the Chuckanut Center to become more involved, and now serves as the Board's Facilities Coordinator, or as he prefers to call it, "Facilities Guy." He spends his free time riding his bike, going on trail runs, baking bread and knitting, along with whatever hobby du jour he's picked up.
