We are located in Bellingham’s South neighborhood, just a short walk from the Fairhaven shopping district at:

Please note that we are an all volunteer organization. As such, we do not have “staff” on site on a regular schedule. We’re happy to give you a tour or meet with you by making an appointment.

Getting Here:

Getting here on foot: From Fairhaven, walk south on 12th St. and cross the Padden Creek bridge. We are immediately on your left after crossing the bridge. Or, you could walk along Padden Creek on the Interurban Trail and follow the signs to Fairhaven Park. 

Getting here by bicycle: Basically follow the same routes as walking. Chuckanut Drive is a major arterial running north and south. Secure bicycle parking is provided on site. 


Getting here by bus: Whatcom Transit Authority operates three routes that serve this area. 
Route 5 connects downtown/WWU/Fairhaven and has a bus stop directly in front of our site.
Route 14 connects Downtown/WWU/Fairhaven and requires a two block walk from 12th St. in Fairhaven.
Route 1 is a GO LINE that connects Downtown/Fairhaven and also requires a two block walk from 12th St. in Fairhaven. 

Getting here by car: Arrive at the site via Chuckanut Drive N., just south of the Padden Creek bridge. Parking here is extremely limited, with parking provided at Fairhaven Park’s main parking area, at Fairhaven Middle School, and on Cowgill St. by the 12th St. intersection.
